Forever, Remember Poem by Matthew Holloway

Forever, Remember

If tomorrow dawns
and I, I am found absent
fear not, lose no tears
remember the tales and stories
help them to become told
shape them into songs and sonnets
plays to be acted upon
or a reason to smile, laugh
and remember, always remember
all sweet joys I once brought
and when you greet each new day
the rising sun and song of birds
I shall not be gone, only changed
what is a spirit was once a form
