Lord there You were and I was here
Though still I failed see
I had no doubt no trace of fear
One day with You I’d be

Together we’d be forever
Together side by side
Nothing would ever sever
The Groom and chosen bride

Today my God I really know
I know these words are true
Wherever this child is to go
There always will be You

Let the world know what I’m stating
Let the one reading here
Have no doubt God’s bride here waiting
Know The Saviour’s ever near

Surely never will You leave me
Always You’ll love and care
Forever will You care
Your living Word’s the guarantee
Forever You’ll be there

To what cause Lord was I chosen?
I see no reason why
Though until hell’s fire is frozen
I know I’ll never die

For I know I’ll live forever
Beyond the youngest day
Where our love sincere and ever
Will never pass away

Eternity stands observing
Forever eyes will see
Where the future still unswerving
Will see You loving me
