Forever
Forget all these material things
they mean nothing to me
no nothing at all
because without your love
I know I would be nowhere
Nowhere at all.
I could not do anything
I wouldn't even be able to breathe
Without your love
and you being here for me.
You standing by my side
and showing me how much you care
means more to me than you will ever know.
You have repaired
my broken heart
and I promise you this
If you will stand by me
I will stay by you
and I will love you
Forever.
it almost seems like a love prayer...true, pristine as the first snow on the mountain peaks...swift as a free flowing river....good write..sonya
Forever is a long time time but it happens to be the often repeated promise among lovers. You have succeeded in creating a very nice poem with it.
