You've seen me in both states
Happy as well as sad
For you are my bestes friend

You have seen me smile
You've seen me frown
You've seen me depressed
And act just like a clown
For you are my bestes friend

You are my guardian angel
Sent from up above
You've helped to guide me
When I needed love
For you are my bestes friend

You know me from inside out
You know to you, I'd never lie
But for you, these eyes
Will just as surely cry
For you are my bestes friend

You are a great friend to me
Though others may not see it so well
But they don't know it all either
On how we've lived through a living hell
