For Things That Never Happened Poem by Apurva Prabhudesai

For Things That Never Happened

For things that never happened
you think life would have been different
A tad bit better otherwise?

Thinking about the things that never happened
Like living in a void
Between the past and the future
For the endless possibilities are just
Thoughts for the idle mind

For the things that never happened
They were never meant to be
There lies a unique path still
Left undiscovered by the traveller and
That's how it will be.

For things that never happened
you think life would have been different
A tad bit better otherwise?

Thinking about the things that never happened
Like living in a void
Between the past and the future
For the endless possibilities are just
Thoughts for the idle mind

For the things that never happened
They were never meant to be
There lies a unique path still
Left undiscovered by the traveller and
That's how it will be.

For things that never happened
you think life would have been different
A tad bit better otherwise?

Thinking about the things that never happened
Like living in a void
Between the past and the future
For the endless possibilities are just
Thoughts for the idle mind

For the things that never happened
They were never meant to be
There lies a unique path still
Left undiscovered by the traveller and
That's how it will be.
