For The Love Of A Dog
How do I love thee?
You are precious as a perfect pearl
That I would possess for eternity
Need not to ask my intentions
For I love thee from afar
Thy eyes are my dream at night
And my mind wanders to them
In my idle moments
Let that stray piece of salt in yr paw
Be moved by me carefully
And kiss the bond we have
Until we get to the ends of the earth
And forever through the stars
