Today
the glorious autumn South African sun
is shining down with light and warmth and blessings
as our Linda has spread to so many for so long
so richly
like coffee-flavoured cream
all over the world.

and I just had to send it to you, Linda,
with all the love you have grown and blossomed
in all our hearts.
Now is your time
to lie back and smile and receive
the fruits of the bounty
you have distributed.
