For Joan Of Arc; A Simple Observation

she came to save France, the Dauphin in hiding

bidden by her saints tormented by her Church

and others a rural girl her head full of

country dreams

she met fate bravely being a simple maid

that's what they say and said for centuries

but I say, softly to myself

no, I dont think, so simple.
