For Angry Reasons Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

For Angry Reasons

And thus for angry reasons,
Wars, famine, and human misery;
Rain’s beauty on droppe’d petals
Grasses’ shine, on dew feathers.

Lose your way through
From the dark woods of love’s hair
To the cheek’s shine ever,
To the fine urn’s spirit, in knotted pewt’r.
