For An Ill Lady In Hospital Poem by StaceyLeigh Olner

For An Ill Lady In Hospital

I know you may,
Feel alone in this hospital,
Because you don't always,
Have someone to talk to,
And sometimes you think,
your not wanted any more,
Because you can't do,
Anything for yourself,
And sometimes you feel,
Your better off to be,
left to go to heaven,
Because of the frustration,
Of not being able to be,
Independent like before.

But you are not alone,
there's nurse's here who,
Will help you to get,
Better for you to be independent,
Also your family and friends,
Are also thinking of you,
Even if they don't all visit,
All the time.

And you are wanted,
Your family and friends want you,
They wouldn't want you to go to heaven,
And i'm sure the staff,
Wouldn't want you to go,
Either otherwise they wouldn't help you,
And i know don't know you,
And I've only met you once,
But i wouldn't want you to go either,
You seem a very nice lady,
So get well soon,
I know you will.

Wrote while i was in hospital, feeling down and thought i would chear an elderly lady up by writting her this poem.
