Footsteps Poem by Isabel Lavender

Footsteps

Footsteps in the sand crossing the holy land
a bird without a song can't live very long
a heart without a beat will never stand the heat
a man on his own is like seed unsown

Footsteps through a cold crossing river
a fusion of twin souls that helplessly shiver
a leper without a mask oh such a task
a brain without a song always wrong
