Folly Poem by Kayode Ogunleye

Folly

Rating: 4.3

They do not trust in God
But trust in themselves
And has no desire
To get wisdom
And find pleasure in evil
They engage in senseless merriment
And love to quarrel
They do not control anger
And they are rebellious
But later end up in ruin

To me it a natural flow of human nature emotions we surely need to control. I have work hard at it however I'm not perfect and tend to slip sometimes

A poet who sees the world through the prism of values and god fearing and it felt very nice. At the same time felt that all rebellious people are not to be ruined when we seek the history pages and they made somewhat good things for human kind in certain circumstances.
