Flying High, High Above The Sky Poem by Jessie Stevens

I feel like there’s something,
That keeps pulling me in towards you,
Closer and closer, and I don’t think it’ll stop,
Until I have you in my reach,

Which I guess is a good thing considering,
I’m too shy to talk to you on my own,
I feel like we have a lot in common,

This may sound weird since we’ve never talked,
But I feel that this fact is true,
I really want to get to know you,
But I’m too shy to even say hi,

So I’ll just look from afar,
And maybe one day you’ll say hi,
And then I’ll be flying high, high above the sky.
