Flowers Bloom Poem by Upendra Majhi

Flowers Bloom

The flowers bloom until night of its gloom, (Robert Muray Smith)
First day.
It blooms, blooms and blooms.
Emits colour, colour and colour,
All seven colours of rainbow,
In sunlight and moonlight
In tube light and limelight,
Young and beautiful,
It yawns away its smallness, ,
And blooms and blooms.
- 2___
day 2
It blooms..blooms and blooms
By fragrance, By fragrance and by fragrance,
by fragrance of primordial earth
By fragrance of love and empathy
, by Fragrance of all flowers…
- 3- -
It swings, swings and swings,
By sea breeze, by land breeze, by southern breeze
in day breeze and night breeze,
it blooms and swings
swings and blooms, ,

-___day—4- -
It withers and falls to ground
It withers, withers and withers,
In the push and pull of mundane world,
By the pressure ofmanipulated accounts,
Of truth and falsehood
By plethora of pleading and evidence
It withers…..
==5====

Next day it wakes up to this,
Oh there is so much dust under me, There is so much cushion under me,
It lies there for whole day,
It lies, lies and lies, ,
Young and beautiful flower,
Colourful and petals intact
It feels happy about being there over
a cushion of earth's dust.warm dust(?)
day 6- -
donot show sympathy, she says
it is more pinching and here there is no pain,
day 7-
Next, it is trampled upon by some feet,
A few petals get bruised, it bleeds,
Still someare left in tact,
Perhaps, It feels happy about that
From your life'scosiness I look miserable, she says
But from life angle, it is closely tight and painless
Being closely tight is a softlanding
Let me live my life she says
Day 8
Nextday, it is swept into the drain nearby,
Flower falls into dirty water,
But water is water, it feels happy about that,
Life is supreme..sunrise will wake you up,
And fill you with hope,
Nextday, ,
There is a large crowd wondering about flower
Some saysnight wind has blown it away to sea,
Some says it is trampled by iron wheel of road leveller
And a few little girls say
She is blown away by a sacred heavenly
wind from cerulean ether to the same flower plant
pointing out to a fullbloomed flower nearby.
