I loved you since the day I touched you for the very first time
The smooth feeling of your hard skull holds my red hand
The sweat I built on you dims your skin
The dirt under my finger nails you dust away
I think before I let go
Flying away from my hand
They dare to smack you back at my soul
I see you fly across the homeplate into the palm of my pitcher

You run back to me into flowing sweat of my palm
I breath once more
Anticpating your voice, daring me to let go of you, my love
I throw with confidence and I leave you once more

No cracks in my soul yet
A sense of nerviousness
You beg me to not let go of you
I know you'll never look at me the same
I scar you every game, let's not be together

Crack goes my heart
