First Kiss Poem by Katlego Rasegwete

First Kiss

Rating: 5.0

Like a head on collision disaster
I was scared thinking if I mistakenly miss
A spot, your lips will be a gum, and I’ll bite them

But in a blink of a second
That fear disappeared
As your lips were all over mine
Brushing mine with your saliva
Like a channel-lock gripped a nut so it doesn't damage threads
That’s how tight you held me and secured me in your arms

You were a leader; I just followed your steps

Both me and you for a moment
Eyes were closed, wonderland opened as all I saw with my eyes closed were beautiful
And wonderful
Noses stopped to breath
Lips slipped up and down
Just like ice-skating but only for lips

Ripe lips
That’s why I couldn't let go of you and that taste that moment
Flavored saliva
Another reason I couldn't stop integrating my saliva with yours

Yet there’s no school for kissing
But that day I passed my lesson with flying colors

My first kiss with you
Is a birth mark in my mind
Can’t wipe it away

That kiss was sweet
That it can’t be compared nor replaced by anyone

Now all I am wishing for is
Can that kiss be my morning snack every day?
My night desert before I close my eyes all the time

Wow! A very descriptive, juicy poem! First kisses are never forgotten: My first kiss with you Is a birth mark in my mind Can’t wipe it away...Wonderfully said! Yet there’s no school for kissing But that day I passed my lesson with flying colors Bravo! Bravo! Now all I am wishing for is Can that kiss be my morning snack every day? My night desert before I close my eyes all the time What a delightful morning snack and night dessert you could think of! The thought is contagious! 10/10. I have a poem titled 'French Kiss' that you may like to read and comment on.
