Finding Needles Of Truth In Dictator Corpse Haystacks Poem by Terence George Craddock

Finding Needles Of Truth In Dictator Corpse Haystacks

finding truth is impossible
without knowledgeable
eye witness accounts
from those truly in the know
without reading primary sources
from orchestrators of events
shift through maze political spin
data doctored for desired effects

will ignorance be bliss
when executed axe falls
when political agenda raises
ugly intolerance real heads
Medusa had venomous snakes
as living hair turning victims

to stone dictators turn to dust
chosen people cities civilizations
leaving scorched earth policies
ruins captured deleted landscapes
depopulated transported to death
undesired citizens children cultures
targeted hated selected racial groups
dictators burn cursed invaded lands

truth is important
it gets you killed
truth is cloak hidden
to hide cruel realities
ignorance is not bliss
when it gets you killed
