Fear Poem by Daniel Bernard Kelleher

Fear

I though I knew what fear was
As most of us think we do
No one even thinks of it
Until it comes and faces you
As we sat waiting for the doctor
I saw this fear in her eyes
He came and gave her, her results
I tried to assured her she'll fine
Hard as I tried to help her
This fear would not leave
I would take it from her
Help her to some relief

Dan, a moving account of being told about upsetting results by a doctor, not to worry, everything will go well :)
