Favorite Author Poem by Gary James Smith

My favorite author is Jesus Christ
Through Whom the worlds were made
He had some fantastic stories
Even rising from the grave.
Many miracles did He perform
Still some did not believe
His disciples though bore witness to
When His earth, He did leave.

Changed lives gave edidence of
The power of faith in Him
Went on giving testimony
To His forgiveness for their sin.
He backed up all the claims He made
His words forever true
More reason for believing on Him
Who died for me and you.

His great book all non-fiction
Every word is true
Confirmation, fulfilled prophecy
Read it all the way through.
He gave His signature in many places
When He said, 'Thus saith'
Praise God I'm blessed in the Son
Author and Finisher of my faith.
