Father Poem by Ianne de Angel

Father

Father,
Another date was your day
But you put me under the shame
And today, we’re not the same
I’m writing what I can’t say
I’ll speak it by my way
Because like this I could be safe

You’re not happy
You’re driving us to the worst side
And I’ve got some questions
That will possess me all my life

Dad, I’m sorry
I can’t continue pretending
I know, you’re not happy
We lost everything

I want to show you, how I can be
But you’re crushing my feelings
I’d like if you could see
That your words are not true in nothing
You’re driving me wild
Cannot you see that I’m a child?
I’m not an insect
I’m just no perfect
