Father Poem by Taher Shemaly

Father

In every corner you see it bound,
or hovering with sparkles on the face
But it would be felt not for how the sound,
except a touch to the heart and embrace
There somewhere between heaven and ground,
by the holy Light to the chanting Grace
Then if you just got lost just see,
the eyes of a little infancy

By the hearts, those of the glamour,
or by the sweetness in the smile
By the name of calling 'father',
that echoes freely and worthwhile
You would find it in the whiner,
or in a laugh shining a mile
This is the miracle to be seen
just a dream, in the foreseen
