Fate Poem by Rich Reitz

Fate

Fate and life are entwined.
As in life, fate is sometimes
Bright and shining, and
Sometimes dark and stormy.
Fate is a mountain road,
Often smooth and enjoyable,
Yet at times rough
And full of potholes.
The road is never ending
With steep climbs
And sharp drops;
Constantly twisting and turning,
Taking us ever onward.
With a new mystery
Around every corner...

But, if not for Fate-
I never would have met
You.

I enjoyed your poem. Thanks for sharing. p.s. It echoes some thoughts I had in my poem: Fortune
