Fascination Number Five Poem by Shelby Barker

Fascination Number Five

Skies, oceans, and outcomes stretch vastly;
Be a bird today,
a lion tomorrow -
Smell roses, coffee
Blood a mile away
Read sngis backwards and ignore what they say;
They point in all directions
with shiny tar, glittery rocks, smooth dust and stone
to lead the journey there
Decisions stop signs
At times brake-tapped without two-look reassurance
At times processed and solved equations
But whatever you do - when deciding -
Make sure to not get run over.
