Farnsworth Tv World Poem by keith brown

Farnsworth Tv World

Farnsworth, TV World

I Invested time today, in Farnsworth's magic toy
A trip around our planet I thought I might enjoy
A 90 minute puzzle of Jungle, desert, sea and ice
Our world: nature's reign legitimised

A vast tide of humanity washes over our world,
drowning out the protests of entire species,
Silenced by an avalanche of human decay, plastic, and faeces
Our plastic bags choke: our bottles? , empty now
ensnare as certain as a hunters trap! Tinfoil, chemicals and old cling wrap'
Our constant digging, felling: poaching: greed: cruelty. Our very industry, deprives habitats, terrestrial prosperity
Yet nature would regain her realm if man would bend the knee
That's the lesson to be learned from Farnsworth's bright TV
