Not goodbye, no, not goodbye,
Instead, I'll say farewell,
For I will meet you once again
In heaven or in hell.

If heaven be our meeting place,
Let all the angels sing!
And we will live within the glow
Of everlasting spring.

If not in heaven but in hell
We meet one day below,
Then I will cry for joy because
My heaven's where you go.
