Famous Last Words Poem by Trenton Davis

Famous Last Words

Rating: 3.4

There You Are,
Laying Next To Me,
Choking,
On Your Blood,
You Try To Speak,
But I Stop You With A Kiss,
'Goodbye' I Whisper,
But She's Already Gone,
My Words Are Useless,
Her Body,
Lays Lifeless,
I Stare Into Her Eyes,
My Last Look,
As i walk away forever...

Honestly, I liked the poem, but the last line made it seem... I don't know... a little too creepy.

The poems go thru on here so fast, and I nearly missed this one. I love the way it is written, and the subtle twist at the end which changes the whole status of the poem from sympathy to hate. Clever Write Steve
