Familiar Ways. Poem by Gangadharan nair Pulingat..

Familiar Ways.

In an unfamiliar route I walked
To see the way to my friend's home
A gentleman nearby shown the way
Walked along a long distance
But in vain I failed to find out
It was the man who tried the tricks
Making me a foul in unknown ways
I cursed in my mind the trap I caught in
The world is traps somewhere it laid
It is wise to judge the signals
Before taking words in such belief
Only seeing is the best believable friend.
