Falmata Poem by A A Umar Udubo

Falmata

Rating: 5.0

Galloping on the laden air
About the neighbourhood
Was a girl—four year old
Beautiful and innocent
Tossing smiles on empty faces
Where fear stalks
Then there was a big bang
She was torn to pieces of roasted meat

Brave utterances set aside for sober reflection. A horrifying story - thought provoking, intense, clear, and expertly narrated with artistic brilliance. It touched my heart.
