Falling In Slow Motion Poem by Sofia Papadimitri

Falling In Slow Motion

Rating: 2.8

Falling in slow motion …

Facing the sky
A blurry gaze
Reflected clouds
On my face…

That sky who cried
With drops of rain
When I chose
To never again…

He gave me pain…

Black iris
Dark stare
I said the truth
And he dared…

One way fall
Downward motion
Yes, all is numb
There’s no emotion…

No wind, no thunder
All still, all quiet
Anticipating…
All loudly silent.

Like a feather
From an angel’s wing
Cold earth embracing
What sky brings…

First day of Spring
The blossom failed
He was no angel
But just a saint…
