Faith Poem by Cyclopseven R

Faith

In God I trust my faith
throughout day and night.
I implored God
“make me thy faithful”.
He asked me’
“are you ready my child,
to give up the rest but Me? ”
I stopped awhile
regaining my mental posture
“what you mean my Lord? ”
“clarify please this ignoramus understand not”.
He said,
“my child give up the rest but Me”
I scarcely believe
that the Higher One asking for this;
I steadied myself again
“if I give the rest, what will my gain be, my Lord? ”
the Lord answered, ”you’ll have Me, my child”
I am lost
“You? ”.
“What am to live as, without the rest but You? ”
the Lord smiled,
“you just live as faith, I’ll do the rest.
For am I not your servant if you are the faith? ”

“Oh Lord, pardon me for questioning. a lot.
Now I know, my faith is not fully laid in You,
the humblest most in the highest heaven”.
‘in mire I still hold my grasp tight as ever,
guide me Lord to free the grip
so I may leave the rest but You”.
