Fairest Rose Queen – Sonnet #35 Poem by Stephanie Eve Kane Arado

Fairest Rose Queen – Sonnet #35

Rating: 5.0

Poet, teacher, Adventist believer
Lavender scent surrounds my memory
Lovely testament to our Redeemer
Learned lady who tells a good story
Unselfish giver who works for others
Wielding a wand of positive thinking
Catching insight that hides under covers
Unpacking symbols with clever winking
Beauty in action, a perfect red rose
Standing apart in the light of the Lamb
Speaking, reading, or taking a short doze
You remind me to be just who I am
Mother, a lady on who we all lean
You have earned the title: Fairest Rose Queen
