Failed Leaders Poem by Ray Hansell

The government said
Millions could die
While the average person does
What they can do just to survive

Instead of spreading panic
Which is all they seem to do
They need to soften their approach
But that's just my point of view

This has become political
That is so plain to see
The lies are only obvious
In attempt to scare you and me

I believe we should be careful
And take precautions serious
All the time while being led
By some people who are delirious

I know there may be many
Who will disagree
But I never let anyone else
Do my thinking for me
