Fading Blossoms Poem by Bob Bowers

Fading Blossoms

I hear your lilting laughter
In summer’s fading light,
Like morning glories after
Sun’s sparkle lifts in flight

It curves around the edges,
A life that we once knew,
Like a vine beneath the hedges,
Its blossoms rainbowed hues.
