I'm lying here wide awake
Just looking over at you
We are in the dark of night
There are no stars in sight
Its just only you and me

I'm afraid to close my eyes
Because it would mean
Loosing precious moments with you

I feel your tears falling on my face
As your looking down at me
You move to hold my hand
And clutch it closer to you

I cant help but wonder why
You are feeling so much pain
So i slowly brush your cheek
to try and wipe away those tears
As my eyes slowly fade to black
