Fabrics Poem by Dennis Go

Fabrics

Pieces hung about
On clotheslines below
A scorching weather
Dry up its moist bearings
After some time
Of lengthy usefulness
Forsaken.

A fellow drops by
Ripping torn blankets
And unwanted satins
For eradication
In an open fire;
Emancipating
Into residue.
