Yesterday was a moment ago
I'm sure it was all aglow
And youth made it seem kind
A sunny time when all was fine

Then today came suddenly
Like it snuck up behind me
And made me what I am today
Wiser now I would want to say

For experience teaches so very well
A piece at a time as I can tell
Others will wonder how
I've learnt so much to take a bow.
