Except You Poem by Frank Walters

Except You

No one would believe me,
Except you.
You have been with me
Through and through
You've been my light
My joy, my happiness
From barefoot walks on sand
At five am, to midnight talks
And escapades; counting stars
While holding hands.
No one will be believe me,
Except you,
When I whisper I love you.
And I'm sorry, I'm so sorry
For what I have put you through.
