Exam Hall Poem by Jaishree Nair

Exam Hall

Rating: 5.0

She sat on the chair,
watching the many heads bent,
their minds trying to recall the knowledge,
tutored by the mentors!

Some cool, some tensed,
The masks an armour against the unseen destroyer,
Some dismayed to see the overlooked part
stare at them in bold black!

The eureka looks,
The despondence looks,
The vacant looks,
All live in the open scenario! !

The tick tock a constant reminder,
to speed up their progress like a catalyst,
To score the most,
Their aim foremost! !

The truant players,
Peeping slyly,
trying to imprint,
feigning innocence when reprimanded......

All now busy planting the seeds
and among them perhaps
a few names destined
to make history in the future of mankind! !
