Every Day A Shot (The Moon Had To Be Gone Wild) Poem by Pierre Rausch

Every Day A Shot (The Moon Had To Be Gone Wild)

They wouldn't believe me
They would warn me
To splutter in brilliance
Good arguments for a virtue
I can't do that
The moon had to be gone wild
From the spoken truthfulness
The moon had to be gone wild
Every day a shot
Every day a shot
The fellows that handle the circle
There they went inside
And had what it was meant to be
As a right man in splendorous language
That escapes in fluid form
Is too strong strength to handle
And when one said
They eye was red
And when one thought
The eye was wet
The moon had to be gone wild
Presumably stick to it
The moon had to be gone wild
What was odd about
I put it away
What was odd about
Was easy to smear
Every day a shot
Every day a shot
