Can you just see
the person i wanna be
you make me feel free
Can't you just see
what i want us to be

i cared for you
I thought of you
And what does he do Ignores you
He hurts you
But i still rate second
And i just can't take it

You are a great prize
That no one is good enough for
You have no prices
And I love you forever more

and cant you see that i love you
and cant you see that he ignores you
and yet you still love him more
and yet you still rate me second evermore

I will always be there
when you need me
but i still feel empty
keeping me down at a degree
i am still a refugee

You told what you knew
i wish it was untrue
and what does he do
dissapoints you
he crushes you
but i still rate second
and i just cant take it

You bring me down to size
and i cant take much more
you create my demise
but ill love you forever more

and cant you see that i love you
and cant you see that he ignores you
and yet you still rate me second
evermore
