Ever Faithful Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Ever Faithful

Walking life’s path twixt hills and dales
Wading through mountain streams
Facing torrential fearsome gales
Beyond one’s childhood dreams

Complications come thick and free
Challenging souls to fight
Grafted within Life’s living Tree
Planted, in The Light

Confronted invisible forces
Behind masks of deceit
Cunning, with countless resources
Devils, seek to defeat

Invading minds, personal thoughts
Gently tightening screws
Distorting bible true reports
Frustrating, to confuse

What is to do, what is to say?
What can alone be done?
Living walking, Salvation Way
Serving God’s risen Son

Cry out; call out, to The Master
Regardless when or where
However harsh the disaster
Jesus is everywhere

High in mountains, the deepest sea
Even one’s secret place
Faithful praying for victory
Jesus will show His face

Salvation will never leave you
Where, when or how we are
Faithful believe for your rescue
He who is never far…..
