Evening Tea Poem by Winston Lu1

Evening Tea

A couple's good china
Sits on display
On splendid old shelves
Poised not long to stay

For sunset affairs they wait
To be shimmied out
Like a familiar sweet gal
Chic dressed for a date

Showered with aroma scent leaves
Brimming innermost with heat
With a twirl of the wrist
Swirls fragrant and sweat

Then they are held dear
Devoutly caressed by fond hand
Gently pressed by inviting lip
Like a rendezvous' night stand
