This is euphoria
My favorite song
These are lightning bolts
In my stomach
This is a train wreck
An oil spill
This is a disaster
That cannot be undone
This is me smiling
Before falling asleep
This is a wild fire in winter
Heat replacing cold
These are neurons
In my brain
Making connections
To memories of you
This is a red supergiant
Then supernova
Forming a black hole
This is inescapable
A beginning and an end
Attraction and repulsion
This is love
This is euphoria!
