Eternity hovers over me
As I age it is clearer for me to see
Stretching on forever above and beyond
In such a never ending unknown song
Arthur Stace chalked it on Sydney pathways
For 37 years it stood as something to say
And it is now written 21 cms high
Near the Sydney waterfall calling on me in its way
For we can live on this earth for a while
And think we have done well with a smile
But Eternity waits for us all
For it will have its say in the final call.

Back to atoms, I say. So did many in their day.
