Eternal Love Poem by Garba Ado Ibrahim

Eternal Love

So embarrassed was the nature,
The day i was born,
I called your name in high tone,
With you my heart was born,
And, i wonder whether it is known,
No way i can leave you alone,
Nor i can leave you for long,

You were in my heart,
In my heart you are,
There you remain forever,

Who knows who lives with heart,
And blood?
You are my blood and my heart,
I live with your love,
Till my sun rises from the west,

Never your love will pity my heart,
For a rest,
To the days i will rest,
You i love and i love with no rest,

Even after million years,
Of my departure,
When i will no longer be in picture,
In mind or in figure,
When my skeleton,
Would have since broken,
Into piecies and turned,
Into sand in my grave,
Then, nothing of me would be left,
Except my heart,
Where your love is kept.
