Essay On Friendship Poem by Emmanuel Adekunle

Essay On Friendship

I never wanted you apart
wake up always to say my heart
i need friendship to
overshadow the evening hardship
friendship of dispersion
heart that has no succession
'we saw last two years ago'
turned to a blinking logo
see me and wave me again
my eyes affection trained

The influence of one
pushed me
low voltage of courage as an hindrance
mustered up something more
in the end to remember
i'm on vow, i vowed
friendship is a wicked animal
it can tear down a whole world
just to build its own house

faults the vow and satisfied
the instinct
grabbed the famous equipment
to pour out my mind
with award winning songs
only to be told
'your voice is bad'
left reeling since then
until few months ago.
