Equal To Reign (2) Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Equal To Reign (2)

God made no woman as a slave
Though man should rule the earth
Let foolish notions seek the grave
So truth may come to birth

No doubt both partners ought to speak
When truth floods heart and soul
When harmony in life they seek
When love would be their goal

Allow within God’s Light be seen
Wisdom allow to sing
Value a wife as if a queen
Or husband as a king

Our service is a fruit of love
And love, God’s gift divine
Not just for those with Jesus’ Dove
Who’ve drank Salvation’s Wine

Only a fool would seek self-ruin
An idiot, seek to fail
But yet we dance to Satan’s tune
Singing his songs in jail

We lie to self, partners we cheat
Bully, or cry for gain
But chaff’s removed from Heaven’s wheat
When Jesus comes again

Its time to live by Heaven’s rules
Live life as Jesus taught
Just fools will always play as fools
Falling salvation short

Soon flesh will answer for its deeds
The blinded brute will see
Fire; will claim satanic weeds
Whilst Jesus’ meek run free.
