Epitome Poem by Jhanus Thanatos

Epitome

You and I,
Are the epitome,
of disgust,
and of humanity,

I, a liar,
you, a cheater,
burning desire,
don't fear the reaper,

Too good to be true,
Was I to you,
Contempt to start anew,
Your pale skin turning blue,

Age is pointless,
Though hers was fake,
Nightmares endless,
Her heart, yours to take,

A nine year old crying,
A grown man beating,
She's at the altar praying,
He's in jail bleeding,

You and I,
Are the epitome,
Of the trouble we cause,
And the pain we see....
