Entwined Poem by Shelby Hrvat

Entwined

Rating: 5.0

I put on my brand new necklace,
Along with my favorite dress,
Changed my shoes and makeup,
Fixed my hair that was a mess.

So happy that I will see him,
As the sun starts sinking low
Finally I can see my love,
To our meeting place I must go.

Somehow I knew we'd meet again-
Even the days that I'd lost hope
Which is why I climbed the mountainside
Wearing my necklace made of rope.
