Enervating Poem by Unnikrishnan Sivasankara Menon

Enervating

Rating: 5.0

April
Summer heat
Devastating
Enervating…

A cool breeze saunters in
Holds me in a tight lustful hug
Her moist lips on my lips
Like germinating seeds,

Her hands ebbing on the small of my back
With nails she writes a poem of love
At the most appropriate spot,
I am unable to gather myself,

A sensuous warmth envelops me
Inviting softness on my breast
The long slender fingers
Of her fragrant locks caress my face.

I pass into a deep trance.
